Our values and culture

Who we are

We are driven by a clear vision and strong values, with people at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to deliver innovative, high quality services with an open, honest and positive approach.

Working on behalf of Canterbury, Dover and Thanet councils, we provide Revenues, Benefits and Customer Services, supporting residents by phone, email and in person.

As a company owned by three local authorities, we combine public service values with a flexible, modern approach. This shapes how we work, the standards we set and the services we deliver.

With around 180+ colleagues working across home, hybrid and office settings, we create a supportive, collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and making a real difference.

Our key priorities for the next few years are outlined in our Strategic Plan for 2025–2028.

We invest in wellbeing, development and work life balance because we know this helps people thrive. Our employee offering provides the flexibility, recognition and stability people need to do their best work.

Feedback from our teams consistently reinforces what we aim to create: a great place to work, with a strong sense of belonging. More than 90% of colleagues say they would recommend us, reflecting the positive environment we continue to build.

At PartnershipOne, people matter. Creating a strong, supportive team is central to how we work and how we grow.  We have built an environment where colleagues feel trusted, respected and able to do their best. Our values shape everyday behaviours, helping to create a culture that is open, positive and focused on doing the right thing.

By bringing together public service principles and a modern, forward thinking approach, we offer flexibility, meaningful development opportunities and a workplace where people can build a lasting career.

The result is a team that feels connected, supported and motivated. With a healthy work life balance and a strong sense of belonging, it is no surprise that more than 90% of colleagues would recommend us as a place to work.
